As you probably guessed my name is Slade Sherman. I was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, before migrating to Australia as a 15 year old with my family and I now live in Melbourne.
I am the founder and CEO of Myzerr, a Social Network for Rewards and Coupons. I have always been fascinated by the growth of Web 2.0 websites that help people to help each other, specifically, websites that enable users to contribute free content and allow groups to collaborate for the collective good of the community. After working in the Rewards, Incentives & Loyalty industry for over 15 years, I started Myzerr because a free, Web 2.0 approach to doing business provides a better model connecting businesses & communities in the rewards industry.
Prior to establishing Myzerr I co-founded The Rewards Factory, one of Australia’s largest full service membership, loyalty, reward and incentive marketing companies. I have a background covering marketing strategy, membership and loyalty, technology, small business marketing, Web2.0 and mobile.
When I’m not staring at my computer screen I love Trekking, Exercise (Running, Swimming, Touch Football), Skiing and fine Coffee. My better half is Michelle and we have two beautiful boys.
